My Fair Lady

I fell in love with a green-eyed maid,
Loved her well, but foul she stayed.
No beauty lingered in that ancient mask
Her jaw was set for the impossible task.
Her hands were claws that did grip tight,
Her constant whispers kept me up at night
Never would she leave, even for awhile,
The slightest wrong would set off her rile.
She grasped my heart and bled my head
Killed my sense with her sharp blade.
Made the smile on my face go away.
Illicted hate and tears that are here to stay.
My enemies to them she took a fierce fight
To my friends she controlled with all her might.
My fair maid throws quite a temper,
She can shriek with frightful splendour.
If you see her keep afar
Or in your life she'll leave a scar.
